• Ages: 0–5 years old

All classes at Zone for Babies and Kids are led by Ms. Yuru Lameda, founder of Zone for Babies and Kids (ZBK), who has a degree in Early Childhood Education and over 16 years of experience as an early childhood educator. She founded ZBK in 2009 with the mission of creating more opportunities for parents and caregivers to engage with their children in fun, respectful, and meaningful ways. The program includes infants 6 months, toddler, and preschool classes with a parent or caregiver in an English-Spanish format, as well as Kids Art & Culture classes for preschoolers 3–5 years old with a parent or caregiver, and bilingual one-on-one classes that can be joined by parents or trusted caregivers. The program states a focus on play-based learning, sensory play, and bilingual sensory, music, and art experiences, with an emphasis on fostering deeper connections and quality time, aiming to reduce screen time and its negative effects, empowering adults with tools for interactions with kids, and helping families create lasting memories and unique, unforgettable moments.

One testimonial from the Alter family describes starting “patuque” sensory stimulation classes when their oldest child was about 10 months old, highlighting songs, dancing, climbing, and exploring different textures and tastes of puréed food, and later art classes where their child mixed with kids aged 3–8 and learned how to study an artist. The Mora Family mentions activities that boost creativity, games they describe as super fun, and names Patuque as a favorite class. The Arguello Family notes their child attended painting and music classes and remembers ZBK teachers for what they describe as excellent work and unique charisma. The Kimberly family shares that Zone for Babies and Kids has been part of their child’s birthday parties, offering fun and engaging activities that kept their 2-year-old focused and asking for more. The Gonzales Family describes VIP classes where they learned something new to do each time and received tips about parenting and their children’s needs.
